WHAT IS SOUTHERN PALM HOME WATCH?
We are a family-run home watch business serving Cape Coral and Fort Myers. We provide a physical presence that is not available through a remote alarm monitoring service. In many cases, we would work with your security company to be the person that goes and checks your home. We can help with most requests you have by contacting us.
WHAT TYPE OF REPORTING CAN I EXPECT?
After each visit to your property, you will receive a detailed report of your activity and any pictures of problems we may have encountered in your home. Then your report is sent to the email you have provided us. They are helpful when submitting insurance claims or when you need reassurance that your home is safe. WHAT ARE YOUR CREDENTIALS?
We believe in the importance of training and preparing our home watch professionals. They have successfully passed the Homewatch Academy certification exam. Southern Palm Home Watch proudly displays the accredited logos of the Home Watch Academy. We are approved through the Homewatch Network to ensure we are bonded and insured for your protection. We keep up with the courses provided by the Home Watch Academy. Additionally, we are registered and certified to do business in the State of Florida.
WHY A HOME WATCH SERVICE INSTEAD OF A NEIGHBOR OR FRIEND?
We all have those kind neighbors and friends that are willing to help out. Are they accredited, certified, and insured? Will they visit on a set schedule and take the time to send you a complete report and updates on your property? Will you get proof that they are watching your home and when they visited? Many times in difficult situations, they might not be able to get to your home. Maybe you are not comfortable with friends watching and having access to your home. A professional home watch provider is the answer. It is our number one responsibility to make those things happen for you.
WILL YOU HELP WITH ANY HOME MAINTENANCE SERVICES?
The quick answer is, we are not a home maintenance service. However, we can discuss anything, and if we can't do it, we have a list of trusted service providers that we can recommend for any issues.
ARE YOUR SERVICES EXPENSIVE?
The majority of the time this question can be subjective: our services are priced reasonably for the value we provide. When you compare the cost of damage due to undetected leaks, pests, or mold, not caught in time, our services could save you thousands of dollars. We will be happy to discuss our pricing for home watch services and any additional services you may require.
WILL YOU PROVIDE KEY HOLDER SERVICES?
Absolutely! We can coordinate access to your property for any situation at an hourly rate. All we need is a notification of the date and time and any instructions you have.
